Science Experiments

Crystals, slime, and lava lamps, oh my! These safe science experiments are just some of the fun ways your child can be engaged in science. Learning and observing nature's properties has never been more convenient, with most of our materials being household products.

Cooking/Snack Making

Whether you're craving some homemade banana bread, popsicles, or trail mix, allow your kid to get in touch with their inner chef and cook some simple and guided recipes. These sessions can be personalized to what you want your child to use, such as no knifes, oven, or microwave. We also make note of allergies.

Acrilic Paints
Art

Allow your child to express his/her inner artist! Use materials you have at home to create a variety of different art pieces. From making your own stuffed animal to learning to draw to learning basic calligraphy, your child will learn to create a variety of projects!

Reading

Let your child’s imagination roam free with our reading sessions. Whether you prefer to have your child read to, or read with one of our volunteers, we have several volunteers to help out. Reading options can include kid-friendly articles, novels, picture books, chapter books, and more! Volunteers will discuss and analyze the book with the kids and connect themes to our current lives!

Open Book
Computers
Games

Allow your child to unwind for a while with fun games to play with one of our volunteers! Whether it's an online multiplayer game or a fun kahoot or crossword, we have various types of games available to play. Your child can choose which game(s) they are interested in and we will happily play it with them!
